On the afternoon of Thursday, July 9, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution held an official meeting with civil workers from the Ministry of the Interior and Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), during which he presented employees with diplomas of recognition for outstanding efforts in food production.
In an animated exchange with attendees, Fidel referred to the rapid growth of the world population, in a context of climate change, growing water shortages and international conflicts whose repercussions are felt in the rising cost of products. Under these conditions, he highlighted the importance of increasing food production, the use of science and its impact on producing and increasing meat.
During his speech, he mentioned the principles of the Cuban people, forged from the heat of the revolutionary process, which influenced the formation of strong human values.
