PLEASE JOIN THE PITTSBURGH-MATANZAS SISTER CITIES PARTNERSHIP This Sunday, July 25 at 1:00 PM
We will gather IN THE PARKING LOT the Energy Innovation Center, 1435 Beford Ave. Pittsburgh, PA. 15219, for a car caravan around town to show our support for the Cuban people and to end the 60 year old sanctions against Cuba which have been judged by the UN as a crime against humanity. This is not about defending Cuba’s political system, rather it is about changing USA interventionist policy of regime change and ending the war against the Cuban people and supporting diplomacy and building bridges, not intervention.
Because of covid, you can support us safely from your car, and be part of a show of support. Please make a homemade sign, because these car caravans will be occurring all over the country to support Carlos Lazo, a Cuban American, FOUNDER OF BRIDGES OF LOVE, who has walked 1,300 MILES from Miami to DC with HUNDREDS of resolutions, including Pittsburgh’s to demand the USA respect the UN, and the Cuban family, and restore remittances and take Cuba off the terrorist list. He will be in DC that day, under death threats from other Cuban Americans pushing for a US military intervention. Photos of this action will be uploaded to social media.
