The National Network on Cuba congratulates the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) on its 55 years of existence. This year is particularly significant because it marks the first year anniversary of the reunion of all the Cuban Five Heroes with their loved ones. During all those long years of struggle, ICAP’s work was instrumental in galvanizing the world support that won their freedom.
Nothing can be more honorable than the friendship among peoples. During more than half a century ICAP has built firm bridges of solidarity with all the countries of the world.
For nearly a quarter of a century the NNOC has worked cooperatively with ICAP and all its Presidents. We are proud to say that despite the U.S. policy towards Cuba that was put in place at the beginning of the Cuban Revolution, the different U.S. administrations couldn’t and will never be able to blockade the friendship between the people of Cuba and the people of the United States.
We celebrate with all workers of ICAP its 55th Anniversary and the 57th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

La Red Nacional de Solidaridad con Cuba en Estados Unidos (NNOC) felicita al Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP) en sus 55 años de existencia. Este año es especialmente significativo porque marca el primer aniversario del regreso de todos los Cinco Héroes Cubanos y el reencuentro de ellos con sus seres queridos y su pueblo. Durante estos largos años de lucha, el trabajo del ICAP contribuyó grandemente a galvanizar el apoyo a nivel mundial que logró la libertad de los Cinco.
Nada puede ser más honorable que la amistad entre los pueblos. Durante más de medio siglo el ICAP ha construido firmes puentes de solidaridad con países de todo el mundo.
Por casi un cuarto de siglo la red NNOC ha trabajado cooperativamente con ICAP y todos sus Presidentes. Estamos orgullosos de decir que a pesar de la política de EE.UU. hacia Cuba, que se puso en marcha a principios de la Revolución cubana, las diferentes administraciones estadounidenses no pudieron ni podrán jamás bloquear la amistad entre los pueblos de Cuba y Estados Unidos.
Celebramos junto a todo el colectivo del ICAP su 55 aniversario así también como el 57 aniversario de la Revolución Cubana.
