Welcome to the May Day Brigade
We call on friends to join us in transcendental days of friendship and solidarity. They will have the opportunity to interact with the people, carry out agricultural work, visit places of historical, economic, cultural and social interest, which will provide them with vast experience on the substantive socioeconomic transformations that the country is experiencing. The celebration, within the framework of the Brigade, of the 22nd Congress of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) will allow us to learn about the strengthening of the trade union movements as the vanguard of the people, despite the constant intensification of the blockade.
Trump’s last term brought 243 additional sanctions on Cuba, impacting essential goods, healthcare, and economic growth. These sanctions continued under the Biden administration, and have had a devastating impact that has led to a massive wave of migration. Our delegation provides a unique opportunity to learn about the crises facing the Cuban people and support them in their efforts to build a better future. By joining us, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of how Cuba’s evolving economy and social structures are adapting under these pressures, all while participating in a meaningful exchange rooted in friendship and respect.
Join a growing group of organizations organizing for solidarity and sovereignty!
