Message from Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP)

Welcome to the May Day Brigade

We call on friends to join us in transcendental days of friendship and solidarity. They will have the opportunity to interact with the people, carry out agricultural work, visit places of historical, economic, cultural and social interest, which will provide them with vast experience on the substantive socioeconomic transformations that the country is experiencing. The celebration, within the framework of the Brigade, of the 22nd Congress of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC) will allow us to learn about the strengthening of the trade union movements as the vanguard of the people, despite the constant intensification of the blockade.

Letter to Biden to Remove Cuba from SSOT

The National Network on Cuba forwarded the letter below to President Biden on Sunday, December 15. This message is signed by 116 Cuban Civil Society organizations with 14 social movements. It points out the SSOT designation is arbitrary, that Cuba is not a terrorist state. We called on Biden to please pay personal attention to this message. The people of the United States agree with this call. One hundred sixteen resolutions from elected bodies in local governments and labor organizations have passed resolutions calling for the cruel and unjust blockade to end.

In the past year, most have called for removing Cuba from the SSOT. … more coming.

You’ll be able to use WhiteHouse.gov contact page put your introduction and link to the letter: https://bit.ly/LetterFrom-Cuban-Civil-Society You can also contact President Joe Biden directly at [email protected]. Please let us know at [email protected] when you do!

Visit Cuba Now Before Travel Becomes Uncertain

Trump’s last term brought 243 additional sanctions on Cuba, impacting essential goods, healthcare, and economic growth. These sanctions continued under the Biden administration, and have had a devastating impact that has led to a massive wave of migration. Our delegation provides a unique opportunity to learn about the crises facing the Cuban people and support them in their efforts to build a better future. By joining us, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of how Cuba’s evolving economy and social structures are adapting under these pressures, all while participating in a meaningful exchange rooted in friendship and respect.
