The US Women & Cuba Collaboration invites you to travel to Cuba with us! We will engage with people and sites in Havana, plus the historic communities of Cienfuegos and Matanzas. And we will participate in the 10th International Conference: Women in the 21st Century, hosted at the University of Havana by UH Director of Gender Studies, Dr. Norma Vasallo. This 10-day trip for up to 21 women is expected to cost around $3,700 (cost does not include air fare from home to Miami and lunch/dinner/personal expenses). Our delegation will be as diverse as possible in terms of race, age, and life experiences, and the delegation is co-sponsored by WILPF-US’s Cuba & Bolivarian Alliance Committee. Delegation details and application are below. We are seeking US women with a diverse array of experiences to join us for a delegation that will allow you to explore ideas in your respective area of interests with Cuban women counterparts.
