BioCubaFarma and US institute to present join cancer clinical trial results

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 29 (ACN) The Roswell Park Institute in the United States and the Cuban Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Business Group (BiocubaFarma) presented promising results from the CIMAvax clinical trial at the Association for Cancer Research Congress in that northern country.

Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz, Cuban minister of foreign trade and foreign investment, said on Twitter that this association confirms the prestige of the Cuban pharmaceutical industry in the world.

He also explained that the collaboration between both institutions includes a project based on research, development and production of medicines.

 As explained by BioCubaFarma on Twitter, the study combines two innovative immunotherapies.
