GREETING OF THE OSPAAAL PRESIDENT NICOLAS MADURO AND THE VENEZUELAN PEOPLE FOR THE VICTORY ACHIEVED IN THE ELECTIONS TO THE CONSTITUENT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Cuba’s African, Asian and Latin American Peoples Solidarity Organization (OSPAAAL) wishes to convey to the Venezuelan people the most sincere congratulations for the victory achieved last Sunday, July 30, 2017. The elections to the constituent National Assembly demonstrated once again the democratic and transparent nature of the Bolivarian electoral system, and have given to the world a strong signal that the will of the majority of the Venezuelan people defend the Bolivarian process continuity and the construction of a sovereign homeland.
The people of Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chávez emerged triumphant in a struggle of historic, clear example of civic-mindedness, patriotism and democratic vocation, to defend peace threatened by all the unconventional warfare tools implemented against the Bolivarian revolution by imperialism, the oligarchies, and a fascist opposition that has resorted to the most dirty, despicable and criminal methods to try to reverse it.
Only on the basis of the use of force, in violation of international law, mocking reason and trampling on the truth, the Empire and their puppets remain shameful campaigns media, arbitrary sanctions and even pathetic measures such as those recently imposed against the constitutional President Nicolas Maduro Moros. But the most popular will has been demonstrated and will overcome hatred and destabilizing plans. The Bolivarian lineage and Chavez of the village Venezuelan is not expired.
The Venezuelan people has settled their differences from dialogue and understanding, and building up the collective well-being on the basis of respect for the free exercise of their right to self-determination.
The programs of social justice in course and the course of national independence and continental integration that drew master minded humanist eternal Commander Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias will be strengthened under the leadership of the tireless President Nicolas Maduro and the National Constituent Assembly.
Our continental organization reaffirms a Bolivarian Venezuela permanent solidarity, available to accompany them in all forums and at all the trenches, shares as his own electoral victory of the National Constituent Assembly, and congratulates the elected members as well as the more than eight million Venezuelans and Venezuelan who voted for peace, the future of Venezuela and the defense of our America in struggle and resistance.
