Hello, Everyone,
The Cuban Embassy will be officially re-opened in Washington on Monday July 20. The very interesting Cuban delegation list for the ceremony is available at letcubalive.org. In Maine, because we don’t have an obvious gathering spot to celebrate, some of us will be flying the Cuban flag in our local communities or in front of our homes. If you have a Cuban flag, please join in.
Cuba deserves a hearty and warm bienvenido and congratulations. We can photograph our individual welcoming and send photos to the Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos Additionally, people could choose to write a letter to the editor of their local paper and include a photo (or not).
For an end to the Blockade, and peace between our countries !!
