You can lift the blockade…
Statement from November’s solidarity endorser, Gail Walker, of the Inter-Religious Foundation for Community Organization:

“IFCO/Pastors for Peace joins the New York Cuba Solidarity Project (NYCSP) in calling on all friends of Cuba and supporters of justice t  demand that the Trump Administration cease its economic war against Cuba,  lift its blockade of the tiny island nation and end its punitive Cuba travel restrictions. We support NYCSP’s campaign and urge you to contact your Congressional representatives to support legislation aimed at ending the US blockade!“

United our voices can pressure the U.S. Congress
to lift the blockade.
On December 17th, 2014 President Obama made history when he announced that the U.S. government would begin the process of normalizing relations with Cuba.  In his address, he referred to the U.S. government‘s policy towards Cuba has been, “archaic and a failure.”

For over 20 years, the United Nations has voted almost unanimously in favor of lifting the blockade/embargo.  The world community has made their voices clear on this issue, yet the U.S. government has done nothing to rectify this matter.

Now with Trump in office trying to impede the progress towards normalizing relations with Cuba, we must galvanize as much support as we can from the U.S. Congress!  We cannot simply focus on making our demands known to him, we must let the U.S. Congress know that we support:

  • Ending the blockade against Cuba;
  • Ending the Travel Ban and allowing unlimited travel to Cuba;
  • We believe in returning Guantanamo to Cuba;
  • Calling for an end to all attempts to create regime change in Cuba.

You can HELP END THE BLOCKADE!
