Dear NNOC members and friends,
The annual meeting of the National Network On Cuba will be held from November 7-8, 2015 in Washington DC.
The business meeting will take place at the UDC David A Clarke School of Law, 4340 Connecticut Ave NW 20008. Metro Stop: Van Ness/UDC Red line. We will begin the meeting on Saturday morning, November 7 and conclude on Sunday, November 8 in the early afternoon. We expect that Kenia Serrano and Leima Martinez to be with us most of the time during these two days, and that a diplomat from the Embassy will also join our meeting.
In order to make good use of these opportunities with plan to conduct the business meeting early on Saturday and then spend the rest of the time discussing the events of the past year and strategizing on our work in the future.
The NNOC and the Metro DC Coalition in solidarity with the Cuban Revolution are working together with a number of other endorsers on an event with Kenia Serrano and Leima Martinez to take place on the evening of November 7, 2015.

We are including nomination materials with this announcement. There are 2 co-chair positions to be elected at the meeting. The deadline for nominations is October 23, 2015. We will circulate the nominations to all for your consideration on October 24, 2015.
The following by-law change was proposed at last year’s meeting and will be discussed and voted on Saturday, November 7: “one co-chair shall be assigned the task of working with the treasurer and shall have the authority to sign NNOC checks and have access to the NNOC bank account.”
