Join us for a life-changing experience
in Cuba
Our caravans extend solidarity to the Cuban people and give you an opportunity to learn about Cuba through direct experience. This year we will travel to Havana and the neighboring province of Matanzas to explore how the Cuban people are economically surviving under an intense economic blockade from the Trump administration.
Despite the blockade we will see how they are moving forward in fields such as healthcare and organic farming, the diversity of religious expression in Cuba, and Cuba’s efforts to tackle legacies of racism, sexism and homophobia.
We will be present in Cuba for the annual July 26th festivities celebrating the beginning on July 26th 1953 of the struggle to successfully overthrow the US backed dictator of Cuba. In Havana we stay at the Martin Luther King Center in the working class district of Marianao.
SOLIDARITY CARAVANS
Sine 1992 IFCO/Pastors for Peace has organized 30 Friendshipment Caravans to Cuba, delivering humanitarian aid from the people of the US to the people of Cuba and traveling to the island without requesting US government permission. We have engaged in this act of civil disobedience as a direct challenge to the immoral US blockade and its impact on the people of Cuba and the US.
